For the fifth year, we are going to visit one of the most sought-after of all destinations - the fabled and mystical island of Madagascar. Our previous tours have been very successful in spotting the wildlife with 15 species of lemurs, a large percentage of the endemic birds, and many of the huge chameleons of the island observed.
This isolated island, which has given birth to wildly strange creatures and plants, is remarkable in every way. After separating from the east coast of Africa more than 60 million years ago, and drifting into the Indian Ocean, it has followed an independent course of evolution, which has allowed it to develop an amazing variety of unique life forms.
